Minnesota Born & Raised
Born in Minneapolis and raised in the quiet suburbs not far from, Raymnd had a fondness for music at a young age that caught the attention of those closest to him.
Growing up he was inspired by the sounds of The Beatles, The Beach Boys and other 1960’s neo-psychedelic acts, the pop and funk roots of fellow Minneapolis native Prince, and more modern dream pop acts such as Beach House and Mazzy Star.
As he came of age, he quickly discovered his sound with a blend of thrashing drums, lush synths, and hypnotic melodies that are sure to keep you wanting more.

Early Influence
Growing up surrounded by the Minneapolis sound, Raymnd’s fascination with 50’s/60’s rock, Beatles, Beach Boys rock, experimental electronica, and introspective lyricism paved the way for his unique distinct musical style. His early years were spent honing his craft by mastering various instruments, loop pedal technology and experimenting with innovative production techniques – all in the cozy confines of his custom home built music studio.

Raymnd’s breakthrough came with the release of his 2024 debut album, “Raymnd,” which has captured the essence of Minneapolis’s indie pulse. The album has garnered attention for its fusion of haunting melodies, ethereal textures, and thought-provoking lyrics that reflect the diverse experiences of Raymnd’s life & memories.
